In addition, a research center is also located in Tom Ridge Environmental Center that focuses on the watersheds and different forms of life in the Great Lakes and Presque Isle. For a more immersive experience, Tom Ridge Environmental Center also offers monthly educational programs such as going on a hike and walking a trail while reading a storybook about nature. In addition, it houses a gift shop and Big Green Screen theater where you can catch environmental and nature films.
